For membership we process your email address, verification and session records, publication and recurring-payment choices, subscription/customer identifiers, payment-event integrity records, and the minimum account-access and delivery records needed to provide the service. Stripe processes payment-card information on its own hosted pages; we do not store full card numbers. We use secure, HttpOnly first-party cookies for sign-in and request protection. Sign-in requires an explicit request and confirmation. Verification links expire and are not marketing tracking links. Security limits use keyed source/subject fingerprints rather than storing raw visitor IP addresses in our membership ledger. Hosting and email providers may separately process network and delivery metadata under their own service policies. Our service providers include Vercel for website hosting, Neon for the small membership database, Stripe for payment processing, and Resend for transactional and publication email. Cloudflare Turnstile may protect public interest forms against abuse. The membership database does not contain our private sports-model implementation or research corpus, and reading an edition does not invoke a local AI system. We use account data to verify identity, provide purchased or free access, process billing/cancellation/refund/dispute changes, honor publication preferences, prevent abuse and investigate delivery or access failures. Product email delivery and marketing interest are separately controlled; buying membership does not opt you into Finance newsletter emails or marketing. Finance email delivery requires its own affirmative choice and can be turned off without canceling access. Existing free Finance readers are not enrolled into a new paid plan or special launch email campaign by this website. A voluntary verified sign-in may match their frozen free-access record privately. The public API does not disclose whether an email belongs to that cohort. We retain the records needed for service operation, billing evidence, security and requested support. Some payment/consent audit records are immutable and cannot simply be erased while they remain necessary to substantiate transactions. Contact customer service with a request; we will explain the records and options relevant to it. No automatic deletion deadline is promised here. Do not send payment-card details or sign-in links to customer service. Saved PDFs are ordinary files under the reader's control; account protection applies to downloads from our website, not to remote control of files after download.
